Early this morning I went down to Delta Ponds which are very close to the house. Mostly I just wanted to get out and take in the morning air after a ripper of a rainstorm last night – it was a beautiful morning. Later in the day there would be thousands of feet pounding the pavement along the route I walked as it was on the course for the Eugene Marathon but that was yet to come albeit they were setting up for it already. I found this simple branch touching the water and it seemed perfect for this morning. (If you click on the image you can bring up a larger version of it on a separate screen.)
