It was and I wish the same to you tonight. We have had clear and cold weather for the last couple of days and that often times can create interesting and colorful sunsets. Last night was one such evening. I have shot many sunsets over the ponds as the wetlands and the variety and beauty never cease to amaze me. This is a bit of a time sequence as the first shot was right near official sunset (pretty obvious) and the second was about a half-hour later. As you can see the colors got more intense as the evening deepened. I came back to the car chilled to the bone but happy to have spent the evening out.

It was a nice sunset last night. I looked over to the west from the house and noticed the brilliant sky…reminiscent of some gorgeous sunsets we saw in Costa Rica last February. Is that ice along the margins of the brush in your second shot?
Yup – that is ice and there was more of it along some of the other ponds and I would imagine lots of it this morning. deigh
Very nice. Between us we covered the colors of sunrise and sunset yesterday. Both of us ended up cold but smiling. Good work Deigh
