I spent last evening at the wetlands west of town like I have done on so many evenings and while last night was certainly not the most spectacular sunset I have experienced out there it really fit my mood – quiet and gentle.
While waiting for the sunset to come on I noticed how the light was playing against some reeds along the bank so thought I would play around with composition and lighting to see what I could come up with. This is 5 shots taken at different focal points and then combined. Seems like I always wish I had taken just a couple more – some time I will get it right
Finally the sunset came on and it just sort of mimicked my mood. I know I will spend many more evenings out there — I just never seem to get bored with it – hope you all are not either.
